To promote the
exercise of Tenants and residents rights and the maintenance and
improvement of their housing condition, amenities and environment.
To represent the
views and act on behalf of tenants and residents within the Bradenham,
Arklow, Chartridge, Chiltern and Red Lion Close on the Aylesbury
Estate; London Borough of Southwark SE17 in consultation with the
Local Authority and other stake holder bodies
To provide
information, advice and practical support to tenants and residents.
To
provide facilities for recreation and encourage a community spirit
To
promote tenant involvement in all areas, particularly where tenant and
resident are under represented and within ethnic minority communities.
To
promote equal opportunities and good community relations and the
elimination of all forms of discrimination.
To
provide a structure for consultation and encourage co-operation and
networking between tenant and resident associations on the Aylesbury
Estate.
To
meet, liaise and work in partnership with Officers of the London
Borough of Southwark
Neighbourhood
Housing Office.
To
forge links locally and nationally, with other voluntary associations
and
organisations
with an interest in or services relevant to tenant involvement and
participation.
To raise
grant funding for the development and benefit of BACC 84 Tenants and
Residents Association.
